We love to sing, but there's more to it.

The Regulars have an insatiable desire to harmonize and persistently endeavor to spread the spirit of harmony throughout their community. All active members of The Alliance Chorus of Greater Central Ohio, the Regulars have adopted the chorus’ motto to be “In tune with Excellence.” The regulars have placed as high as 6th place in the highly competitive Johnny Appleseed District, after only two years of competition.

While the Regulars love to sing on stage, they really live for the afterglow where they can let loose, connect with friends, and create new memories over tags and a beer. Still a relatively new group, the Regulars cherish being a “chapter quartet” and the opportunities that presents to share the stage with The Alliance. The Regulars have had opportunities to perform at the Ohio Statehouse, Pittsburgh’s annual 3 Rivers Regatta, on the nationally syndicated Dave and Jimmy Show, and three times with Columbus based improv troupe, #Hashtag Comedy.

Chris is our tenor and has been singing barbershop since 2004 with the Elyria Chordsmen, Lehigh Valley Harmonizers, and The Alliance Chorus. Chris is heavily involved in running a 501(c)3 called HeartFund Inc, life coaching and transformational work, and volunteering for various causes. By day he works at ZoCo Design, a branding consultancy, as an Account Manager and Operations Specialist. When not singing, Chris enjoys cooking, drinking, bicycling, philosophizing, and spending time with his pups, his friends, and his lovely wife Stephanie (sorry ladies).

Having sung Lead in barbershop since 2009 with the Miami-Shelby Melody Men, Chris became a member of the mighty Alliance Chorus in 2012 after moving to Columbus.  Initially he sang in quartets for fun with his Miami-Shelby brothers, which included the likes of Under the Hill, as well as Clefs of Insanity (where Chris sang Baritone).  However his first competitive quartet was a product of his involvement with the Alliance Chorus, and that group ultimately became the 2014 JAD Novice Champions, Danger Zone.  When not singing, Chris enjoys craft beer, supporting local businesses, Chinese language, having a beard, and being single (hello, ladies).

After first visiting the Nashua Granite Statesmen in 2008, Jon was hooked on Barbershop. While in Nashua, Jon also sang in his first quartet, Shift Change. After relocating closer to central Ohio (and eventually back to Columbus), Jon began singing with the Mighty Alliance Chorus, where he earned his first (of what he hopes will be many) International Chorus medal! Most recently, Jon sang tenor with JAD Top 10 quartet Outburst. When not barbershopping, you can find Jon on the golf course, enjoying local coffee and beer, or playing board/table top games with friends.

Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Peter moved to Columbus after Graduating from Michigan State University. Following a career and chasing his dreams, Peter joined the Alliance Chorus and immediately became hooked not only by the music but also the relationships made through Barbershop. Although, this is his first experience singing with a quartet, music and theater have always been a passion throughout his life. During his free time, (besides singing) Peter can be found Disc Golfing, Golfing, visiting local breweries, or binge watching House of Cards and Game of Thrones.
